Background:

Reynolds Consulting Engineers was contracted to commission the new TomRidgeEnvironmentalCenter at Presque Isle in Erie, PA. The new 41,000s.f. facility is registered for Gold level LEED certification and serves as an entrance to the PresqueIsleState Park, a research facility and an educational facility.

The new center includes: a grand lobby, food service and gift shop areas, a children’s Discovery Center, conference and classroom spaces, research laboratories, a large screen format theater, regional transportation office, general office space and an observation deck.
